Integrated backend match when processing invoices

New feature for those who process purchase invoices in Next®.

Now we make it easier to utilize any existing match functionality in your ERP system.
PO matching is the process where a purchase invoice is checked against the original purchase order (PO), and probably also the delivery (3-way match).

Many of the more advanced ERP systems (e.g M3 and ASPECT4) already have matching routines in place. Routines that handles the ongoing adjustments of price lists, purchase orders, and deliveries. This update makes it easy to utilize this funktionality to make the processing of invoices in Next®even more smooth and efficient.

  • An invoice arrives in Next®.
  • The purchase order is found, but the price for two items do not match, and the vólume delivered for one item neither.
  • The invoice is marked as No match, and send to the responsible purchaser.
  • It turns out that the price list is in need of an update, and once the PO is updated the prices are ok.
  • Meanwhile, another delivery has been checked in in the ERP, and volumes match.
  • The invoice now has complete match, and is automatically approved.

This kind of tight integration only makes sense if you have a purchase order process, and do delivery logging in your ERP. But if you do, it makes the life for the approvers so much easier.
