Automated handling of encrypted emails

New optional feature and a major potential productivity enhancement for those who work with email archiving in Next®.

Encryption of emails is gaining traction in several industries. This happens as concerns for confidentiality and the protection of personal information are on the rise.

Receiving and processing encrypted emails from external parties can be a tedious and costly task. Especially if each encrypted email you get needs to be manually decrypted before it can be further processed. This ruins the efficiency of any email automation efforts.

For Next® we now introduce a new way of automating the process of capturing, decrypting, and archiving emails - efficiently and secure.

Instead of asking individuals to handle the process - and the required certificates (decryption keys) - manually, you leave everything to Next®. When you keep your certificates in Next®, Next® can decrypt incoming emails without any user intervention. No matter if you right-click in Outlook to archive each email in Next®, you use Next® to automatically process everything in an inbox, or you have our fully automated Next® Mailroom.

One for use, and one for evidence

Next® automatically keeps two copies of all secure emails. One encrypted to prove exactly what
you received, and another decrypted ready to work with. No manual work required whatsoever.

In Next® you work with encrypted emails as easily as those who are not.

For the techie ones

All handling of capture channels (e.g. mailboxes, web servers, etc.) is defined centrally from within the Next® administration module.

Even the handling of certificates and private keys, takes only a little configuration.

The business log

All decryption transactions are logged in the business log.

Future enhancements
