Bugs and other creeps, annoying Next® admins and specialists, December 2021

Unfortunately we also from time to time introduce bugs and other annoying behavior in Next®, that may not directly affect end users, but instead annoy the people who setup and administer Next®.

For this release we have eliminated the following bugs and annoying behaviors, affecting admins and specialists. 


Improvement Issue
Immediate processing of newly captured document no longer result in Concurrent Modification Exception NEXT-4220
Field aliases no longer generates duplicate folders description during migration to Smart-folders  NEXT-4242
The Update Item Value batch job again treats exact multiple field values correctly NEXT-4237
The Search index now represents correctly multiple revisions in a single transaction  NEXT-4243
No permissions to content no longer result in multiple application log entries NEXT-4253
Automatically assigning values (Autocomplete) to multi-value fields now works as designed  NEXT-4282
Next® Transformation Engine now deletes all temporary files after completed conversions NEXT-4328

Next® Transformation Engine no longer crashes during clean up of temporary files.


Next® Transformation Engine again converts thumbnails to the correct size for Next® Card views.
