Context aware Add document

By popular request - aka long overdue -  we now introduce context aware Add document. Or step one of Smart suggestions in the Add document dialog if you wish

When you click Add document, while you have a specific customer folder open, Next® will now suggest this customer for the new document. And suggest a document type, that is relevant for a customer.

Customer letter for TED Japan is a pretty good guess, when the customer 1084 folder is open.

Exactly the same you get, when you drag and drop a file into Next® with the right folder open.

Drag a Word document into Next® with the customer folder open

Context - the right customer number, project id, SKU or whatever - can come from an active folder. But also from a Search form. This means that if you have a Search form open, and have searched for a specific customer, then this customer will be suggested when you click Add document.

Search for customer 1084, then Add document. A customer letter for TED Japan is now a pretty good guess.

The new context aware Add document is a huge efficiency booster for those who frequently add documents to Next®. And even more for those who work with Next® Digital Workplace integrated in their CRM system. Here the customer or account number is preselected in the CRM system, and Next® now suggests that any new documents belong to this customer.

When you add a document to an account in Plato from All-Consult, Next® knows what customer to suggest

Future enhancements

Context aware Add document - or Smart-suggestions - will keep on getting improvements.
