Bugs and other creeps, annoying the people using Next®, February 2022

It is part of our promise to be #EASY. Having bugs and other annoying behavior in your software is not being #EASY. For that we put a lot of efforts in to avoiding bugs in the first place, and to get rid of them fast, when we make one. 

For this release we have exterminated the following bugs and annoying behaviors, affecting end users.

Delegated permissions - the additional permission you grant to some one you when share a documents with them - now survives if someone else with less access than you later changes the permissions.

The Outlook add-in no longer gets validation conflicts when you switch between item types with multiple lookup fields.

The green notification indicator in your profile, now only lights if you have unseen notifications. Having a reliable indication of when there are unread notifications is essential in order for users to rely the functionality.

The Add document form again allows you to drag additional files to be archived in Next®

You can now again see the PDF preview of an old document even if the definition no longer exists.

Duplicate detection now captures duplicates even if you add documents fast and repeatedly.
