One-click reply to emails in Next®

New and timesaving feature for those who work actively with emails in Next®.

In order to reply to an email archived in Next®, all you have to do is click Reply to email.

Next® then automatically brings up the entire email thread in Outlook, ready for you to type in your reply.

And with the right setup, Next® also automatically archives the new reply email - with an archive copy in PDF.

As easy as 1-2-3.

Click Reply to email, to bring up Outlook with your email ready to reply.

Smarter, faster, and more secure

Until now, you would have to download the email to your local PC before you could reply to it. Working, but not exactly elegant.

Now you save key strokes and avoid downloading files to your PC. Not only faster, but also more secure.

Native email and PDF formats

For One-click reply to email to function, you need to archive emails in the native email format in Next® (MSG or EML format).

Still, we recommend that you also archive a PDF version of each email, for long-term archiving, and for sharing with others - by email or on your web site.

Exactly as you would archive a letter in Word™ format - for later editing. And in PDF for long-term archiving.

Learn more in the Next PDF® Archive Automation product sheet.

The business log

When you click Reply to email it's logged in the business log. Next® has no way of detecting if you actually did end up replying to the email or not, as it takes place outside of Next®.

Future enhancements

No enhancement planned.

For the techies

For One-click reply to email to work, you need to install the Next® App Launcher on each client PC.
