External inspection services

When you use Next® for processing documents - for example supplier invoices - you can setup a variety of controls and checks you want Next® to perform.

Now we take this one step further with External inspection services. Want to check your incoming contracts for GDPR sensitive content? Or verify that all incoming invoices contain both valid and credible banking information? Use an External inspection service to analyze and report its finding directly in the Next® UI.

Accept or Reject processing of the Supplier invoice based on the findings.

We have extended all the standard workflows in Next® Invoices with a new task - Verify automatic inspection result. You define what invoices should trigger this task. All invoices, invoices with warnings, or invoices with errors.

Future enhancements

For now, the External inspection services are enabled for Next® Invoices, but in a soon to come release, you will have this ability in all of  Next®.

With coming releases of Next® we will deliver a number of predefined and preconfigured inspection services. Some of these will run locally with your Next® and others will use third party cloud based services.

For the techies

You may configure you own External inspection services, and describe them with a HTTP endpoint and the credentials to be used.
