Next® for SAP®
Now Next® 2.0 also supports full standard integration to SAP® using the official SAP ArchiveLink.
This allows SAP® to automatically offload any document and data into Next®. Not only does this relieve the SAP® servers from handling huge amounts of historical data, but it also allows you to create a true enterprise archive where documents from SAP® resides together with documents from your Office applications and any other business systems you have in operation.
Next® Enterprise Archive serves as the common platform for all document handling in the IT landscape centered around SAP.
Accessing Next® from within SAP®
As the integration is based on the official SAP Archive Link, you can access Next® from almost anywhere in SAP®.
Accessing Next® from outside SAP®
As documents from SAP® resides in Next® alongside documents from elsewhere, it makes great sense that you can access them also from outside SAP®. Office 365, Salesforce, or whatever other systems you have in your IT landscape.
When you access Next® from SAP®, Salesforce®, or Office 365 you will appreciate our enterprise single sign on.
For the techies
The integration is made using the SAPALink Interface from KGS, and while the integration is not officially certified it has undergone all the same tests and verifications. And passed everything in flying colors.
Besides the traditional Archive Link support, where the DMS serves as a simple binary container Next® is automatically enriched with selected metadata on each document. This allows all documents from SAP® to be indexed properly and become active parts of the enterprise archive.
