Minor enhancements for the people using Next®, July 2021

We are happy to flag every new and enhanced feature in Next® with its own release note. Still, some of the enhancements are relevant to only a select few, and those we collect in this list for documentation.

For this release we have collected the following minor enhancements targeted the admins and end user:

Enhancement Issue

Next® always shows you it's cleanest view              


Whenever you enter a list of documents or tasks for the first time, Next® will present you with its simplest and cleanest view. In list views, by default you do not see the document  and task details. If you chose to open the detailed panel, Next® will remember your preference. 

Next® Companion beautified  NEXT-3978

Next® Companion - the component you use to work more seamlessly with documents on your PC, has had small makeover resulting in an easier install process.

Next® Go now with Documents and All emails categories NEXT-3867
The standard configuration that comes with Next® Go, now includes categories for documents, including an All emails category  

Export to  Excel™ and Export to ZIP is logged to the business log       NEXT-4015
Whenever the export jobs add their result files to Next®, this is now logged in the business log.

Not so much here for the technically interested.
