Standard Oracle database support
Next® now supports standard data integration to Oracle databases without the need for custom code or third party software.
We have for many years provided this functionality to our customers using Microsoft SQL Server and IBM DB2.
As Next® is increasingly being deployed by customers in the financial and insurance sectors, where Oracle has a predominant position, it makes good sense to develop standard functionality to provide seamless data integration with the Oracle data bases.
Setting up a data source in Oracle DB is exactly as easy as with MS SQL
For the techies
We use the opensource Oracle JDBC driver compatible with Java 8.
