Minor enhancements for the Next® admins and specialists, March 2021

It is no secret that the primary target of our enhancements are the business users, or end users, of Next®. Still, providing ease of use, and increased productivity to those who admin or configure Next® also make great sense.

For this release we have collected the following minor enhancements targeted the admins and specialists:

Enhancement Issue

Email capture made more fault resilient
The Next® email capture now handles wrongly encoded emails from Domino 9 servers over IMAP. The emails are ignored.

NEXT-3750

Improved logging during start up
When in trace log mode we now log progress during the load of the configuration store.
Better logging under these long running steps help maintain confidence that the server is actually starting.

NEXT-3819

Searches have become more resilient to special characters

NEXT-3848

Using slash "/" in field values no longer prevents REST api searches from delivering the required result.

More precise search for tasks NEXT-3844
List of tasks have until now used a wild card search. Now exact searches can be configured on lists to ensure more precision in the search result.

For the techies

This is pretty much technical in it's nature.
