Built-in shortcuts to standard views in Next®
Over time, we have introduced a number of standard views in Next® - Recent documents, Pinned documents, and Checked out documents to name a few. And soon, you'll also see Deleted documents, and Documents to index.
These standard views have automatically been added to your Favorites.
Favorites automatically include the standard views
As these standard views are part of the standard Next® functionality, we have decided to move them to a new icon ribbon dedicated to such features.
Standard views are now available with dedicated shortcut icons - pinned, recent, and checked out documents.
Moving these standard views into the dedicated icon ribbon frees up space in the Favorites section, and gives you an easier looking user interface.
Future enhancements
We will use this freed up space to introduce the ability to add your own entries to Favorites making them YOUR favorites.
With your selected Searches, Folders, or Task lists.
You have probably also noticed that the Module - in this case Documents - has become more prominent. More real estate and a bigger font.
In a soon to come release, the Modules will be renamed to match the functional areas or products - Enterprise archive, Contracts, Invoices, Projects, you name it.
This will result in more clearly divided workspaces for those who use multiple Next® products.
