Start process policies
New feature that makes it easy to add smart collaboration tools to all our solutions.
With Start process policies, you can combine any predefined process, with a data entry form, and finally an icon for the user to click.
Start process policies, has already been used in Next® Contracts to add the Notify a colleague feature.
With Notify a colleague, any contracts user can involve a colleague with a single click, selecting the colleague, and providing a short instruction. And a comment if their memory is weak.
Now we can easily setup such functionality for any of our solutions.
Business log
The actual action - e.g. Notify a colleague - is of course logged in the business log.
Including details on when, who, and what.
Future enhancements
In coming releases of Next®, you will see enhanced forms support, including advanced defaulting.
For the techies
This update allows you to setup, without any coding, how to combine a predefined process with a variable input form, and to assign them an individual button icon.
The setup allows you to define in details on what document types, and for what user groups the new feature is relevant.
And to configure, how the process is to be initiated - immediately, or scheduled to a future date.
Additional information
Please refer to the online product guide for additional information on this feature, once it is released.
Commercial terms and conditions
This update is available at no additional cost, to users with an active service plan. Consultancy assistance will be invoiced.
