Minor enhancements for the Next® admins and specialists, October 2020

It is no secret that the primary target of our enhancements are the business users, or end users, of Next®. Still, providing ease of use, and increased productivity to those who admin or configure Next® also make great sense.

For this release we have collected the following minor enhancements targeted the admins and specialists:

Enhancement Issue
Optimization of Next® Integration Services NEXT-3432

Next® Integration Services no longer generate the Post Voucher transaction if the Ignore Post Voucher option is set. This increases the performance of Next® Integration Services, and reduces the consumed storage.

Remove Documents enhanced with an option to delete empty folders NEXT-3337

The option to remove any empty folders has been added to the Remove Documents background task.  The option was already available in the Reorganize task.

Scan to Next® and Next® Mailroom can now co-exist  NEXT-3205
Having Rules families determined by document type, allows for the two solution to co-exist in the same installation.

Admin batch jobs made more robust NEXT-2823

For the techies

This is pretty much technical in it's nature.
