Bugs and other creeps, annoying Next® admins and specialists, October 2021

Unfortunately we also from time to time introduce bugs and other annoying behavior in Next®, that may not directly affect end users, but instead annoy the people who setup and administer Next®.

For this release we have eliminated the following bugs and annoying behaviors, affecting admins and specialists.

Table views with integration data is more robust to model changes  NEXT-3410
Ask a colleague actions from Next® Invoices again available in Admin UI  NEXT-4103
Full-text index is now recreated if document is replaced with an identical file  NEXT-4112
Detect duplicate document now handles permissions correctly  NEXT-4002
REST APIs now do escaping without regards to upper or lower case  NEXT-4085
Adding compound thumbnails now handles that no preview may exist  NEXT-4124
Log viewer loads correct certificate NEXT-4127
Static Smart-folders are now published correctly NEXT-4114
Table views handles IDs with special characters NEXT-2870
Item type definitions now handles many field definitions correctly with paging NEXT-4135
Changing posting dates in Invoices, no longer requires company periods to be defined NEXT-4149
Delegation in Verification task, is now correctly restricted to business admin group  NEXT-4155
Invoice type can again be changed from Purchase to Cost in a single approver setup NEXT-4159
Next® will successfully startup on a partitioned index even if the search index contains ghosts  NEXT-4126
