Switch invoice type - between cost and purchase - for multiple invoices
Enhanced functionality for those who process large volumes of supplier invoices in Next®.
In Next®, the process of handling invoices depends hugely on the the type of invoice. A cost invoice for an additional office chair, follows a completely different process than the invoice related to the materials used in the production or in customer projects.
Mostly, Next® correctly determines the invoice type Cost invoice or Purchase invoice. Sometime however, an invoice is started off as the wrong kind of invoice. Instead of having to reprocess the invoice started of as the wrong kind of invoice, Next® lets you switch invoice type "Change to Purchase invoice" or "Change to Cost invoice".
Until now, you had to do this individually for each of the invoices in question - but no more.
Now you can select multiple invoices (of the same type) and in one go, change them all to Cost or Purchase invoices.
Select all the invoices you want to change, then Change to Purchase invoice. (New screen shot - full screen and multi-select))
This may seem like a minor change, but if you are in charge of processing big volumes of invoices, this is a valuable time saver.
