Next® REST API made easier to consume for Power BI, Qlik, and any other external tool

At most companies running Next®, Next® ends up containing a wealth of valuable business information.

Common intel on how your customers pay, on how your suppliers deliver and invoice, and on how your organization processes supplier invoices, projects, and contracts.

Reporting on this intel is done easily - and securely - using our standard REST API.

You can do it directly in Next®:

A live Power BI report in Next®

Or, from your business intelligence tool of choice - whether it is Qlik:

or, if you prefer, Power BI from Microsoft:

Kellerhals Carrard automatically generates daily reports

In addition to the above common use cases comes an array of more special cases - such as Kellerhals Carrard - who for the Swiss Guaranty Cooperatives verifies all COVID-19 related loans. Their Next® contains intel on more than 12.000 loan cases with a combined value of 150 million euros.

Every day at 17:00 pm, they use the Next® REST API to generate up-to-date reports to their 160+ case workers, management, and the Swiss Guaranty Cooperatives to report directly on

Configurable XML/JSON response

For all of these use cases - and more - the Next® REST API provides secure access to valuable data.

As Next® contains lots of information on each document (and task), getting the full content on each document can be overwhelming. For that reason we have introduced a configurable REST response. Simply specify in your request what data you need back.

Not only will this make the use of our API much easier, it will also put much less stress on the tools processing the returned data. Especially when you are dealing with huge result sets.

This makes the use of our API much easier

For the techies

Besides making the XML or JSON response configurable, we have also made the API fully streamable. This makes it real easy to extract valuable real-time data out of Next®.
