Export user specific hit list to Excel®
Major productivity enhancement for those who use Next® for exporting business data.
Today, the Export to Excel® user action allows a user to export a hit list result from any search form in Next®. As a default, the entire list of fields are exported (based on the pre-configured view policy) to Excel® - no matter what columns the individual user has picked out as being relevant.
Today, data from all columns are exported to Excel® - no matter if the user has hidden certain columns.
Now, Next® allows for individual users to define their own output result when using Export to Excel®. When de-selecting columns in the hit list view, these can now be filtered out when starting a new Export to Excel® batch job. The user will be presented with an option to activate this filter function before exporting any data.
Before activating the Export to Excel® job, the user can now choose to filter out hidden columns.
