One-click reclassify documents in Next®
Documents in Next® are classified using their Document type. Sales invoice, Employment contract, Price list are all examples of different document types, with their own set of metadata and permissions.
Changing information on an archived document is easy - provided you have the permission to do so. Click Edit, change the values, and Save. When you change information on an archived document, you cannot change the Document type - the classification of the document. With Reclassify document you can.
Reclassify document
If you by mistake have archived a Customer order as a Customer offer - you can now undo your mistake with only a few clicks. No longer any need to delete and archive again.
When you select a new document type Next® keeps the matching data, and let you provide any missing values before saving.
For the techies
Next® will keep data only where the naming of metadata is identical.
The actions associated with creating a new document are activated, when you swap a document type.
