A miniature picture, that makes it easier for you to identify your documents

When you work with Next®, you locate your documents in several ways:

  • searching for time, dates and other document facts
  • searching through document content and
  • visually browsing through thumbnails

If you work with thousands of invoices that look the same, a thumbnail won't do you much good. But if you work with photos, logos, or movies - a thumbnail may be the easiest way to identify a specific document.

Next® lets you setup default thumbnails for those document types that always look the same.

But more importantly Next® can also automatically create a thumbnail for a myriad of document formats.

And for the rest, you can use the Set thumbnail to select the preferred image for each of your documents.

Thumbnails are shown as metadata, and may be listed in the cards view.
